God calling Me?
The Servant of God, our unforgettable Pope
John Paul II in “Gift and Mystery” wrote “A
vocation is a mystery of divine election:
You did not choose me, but I chose you… that
your fruit should abide” (John 15:
16).
ur
present beloved Holy
Father, Pope Benedict
XVI likewise expressed
a divine vocation
in these words, which
His Holiness wrote
in the Message prepared
for the World Day
of Prayer for Vocations,
May 7, 2006: “The
prospect is truly
fascinating…It
is a gift that
radically changes
every exclusively
human idea and project. To
respond to God’s
call and set out,
it is not necessary
to already be perfect…Human
limitations and fragility
are not an obstacle,
on condition that
they help to make
us ever more aware
that we need Christ’s
redeeming love. Down
the centuries, numerous
men and women, transformed
by Divine Love, have
consecrated their
lives to the cause
of the Kingdom…to
following Christ
totally and exclusively.”
Could
Jesus be calling
ME to be His
Bride…to
be EXCLUSIVELY
HIS OWN?! YES,
PRIVILEGED SOUL,
JESUS CAN and
WILL make you
exclusively His
own, if you are
willing to belong
only to Him.
armel
is a call to prayer.
It is a life of prayer,
work and dedication
for the salvation
of souls and the
good of the Church.
It is a life hidden
in Christ, my Divine
Spouse, with Him
and only for Him.
It is a life where
I will leave all
behind, but in which
He Himself will be
my great and only
reward. It is a life
of humble obedience,
perfect chastity
and complete poverty
as an oblation to
Him.

may well be the “Garden
of Sweet Encounter” into
which Jesus is calling
you and awaiting
your coming! Do not
keep Him waiting,
lest He seek someone
else who is anxious
for the CALL that
He is offering to
you… and you
may LOSE this Gift
beyond all telling!
